Antique French late 19th century (1880-1900) hand-built wooden vineyard hotte, used to carry grapes during the harvest. Made from wooden staves with broad shaped hoops, original leather shoulder straps, and a 45 liter capacity marking. A wonderfully sculptural piece of French agricultural history.
Condition: Good antique condition, with warm patina and the honest wear of its original vineyard use. The wood and hoops remain intact, with minor age-related marks and small repairs. The original leather shoulder straps are worn but present. Decorative use, not guaranteed watertight.
