Hand-hammered cylindrical copper rafraichissoir used for chilling wine or champagne at the table, made c. 1820s-1830s with original tin lining. The rim features opposing relief cuts typical of period tinned work to relieve tension in the metal. Retains its original base rivet.

Condition: Age-appropriate surface wear and patina. Interior tin shows oxidation; watertight and suitable for bottle cooling. Professional re-tinning can be arranged on request.
